Meet Our Physician Assistant

Steve Gruer, MSPA, PA-C

Steve Gruer, MSPA, PA-C recently joined the medical group. Mr. Gruer is a Certified Physician Assistant by the Medical Board of California. He graduated from the University of California Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. Following graduation, he worked in pulmonary medical research for eleven years at the VA Medical Center in Long Beach California which lead to co-authoring multiple manuscripts and abstracts.

He then obtained a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona California. He has eight years prior experience in allergy medicine and has expertise including treatment of allergies, asthma, eczema, urticaria, angioedema and allergic disease in general.
